Jiangsu, 19th Dec 2016, ZTT Group - leading global manufacturer of cable systems, passed technical appraisal of high conductivity aluminum alloy conductor (JL3/LHA1-935/415-63/28) and high strength aluminum clad steel conductor (JL3/GLB20-1250/70-76/7). The technology was identified by China Electricity Council (CEC).
At present, the development of energy-saving conductor in China has made a great contribution to energy saving. This kind of conductor just focused on the EC Grade Aluminum, although the conductivity of aluminum alloy has improved 2%, yet the difficulty of further raise was increased.
In order to solve this problem, on the one hand, ZTT focuses on the aspect of material research, using the high strength aluminum clad steel wire with the electric conductivity of 20.3%IACS to replace the G2A steel core of steel core high conductivity aluminum wire. Under the condition of meeting the same or even higher mechanical performance, this replacement can increase the cross section of the wire, decrease the resistance and reduce the transmission loss, thus to extend relative service life. On the other hand, ZTT focuses on the structure study to develop the high conductivity aluminum alloy conductor (JL3/LHA1-935/415-63/28).
Experts from Chinese Electric Power Research Institute, National Power Grid Corp, North China Electric Power Design Institute, East China Electric Power Design Institute, Central South China Electric Power Design Institute, etc. attended the technical appraisal meeting.
